Todd Cantwell has been slammed for his celebration after scoring in Rangers’ 5-2 victory against Dundee at Ibrox.

The Ibrox ace (26) scored a shock goal as his effort from the wing sailed into the top corner, with opposition fans immediately labelling it a “fluke”.

He followed up by kissing the badge on his kit, which led to rival fans calling him “embarrassing” and questioning his celebration.

After the game, he spoke positively about his teammates and the supporters at Ibrox, which has won back favour among Gers fans.

Plenty of fans across Scotland slammed Cantwell for his celebration, labelling it “embarrassing” given Rangers’ situation, with one even calling the Gers man “insufferable”.

However, fans at Ibrox loved the moment and called for other players to show similar passion, with many insisting he should start the Scottish Cup final.

Rangers fans, meanwhile, were full of praise.
