Liverpool transfer news: Marc Guehi 'likely' to move - sources

Liverpool defensive target Marc Guehi is the Crystal Palace star most “likely” to quit in the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

Guehi, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise are all attracting interest from top Premier League and elite European sides ahead of the summer.

Football Insider revealed last month (29 April) that Liverpool, Arsenal, Man United and Newcastle United are all keen on Guehi as they target defensive reinforcements.

A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Guehi is the most likely to leave Palace for big money in the off-season.

The Croydon outfit are keen to keep both Eze and Olise at Selhurst Park as they look to build on the promise shown by Oliver Glasner in the hot seat this term.

Crystal Palace open to Guehi exit with Liverpool on high alert

Palace are open to allowing Guehi to leave with their blessing for the right fee as they want a bigger transfer budget to give to Glasner this summer.

The 23-year-old can boost his value with a strong showing for England at the European Championships – if he keeps his place in Gareth Southgate’s squad.

He has recently returned from a knee injury and is gearing up to make his first start since February.

Guehi, who joined Palace from Chelsea in 2021, has made 28 appearances this term and has captained them regularly in the 2023-24 campaign.

His contract at Selhurst Park is set to run until June 2026.

In other news, Liverpool agree double deal – they both arrive on 1 June.
