The Liverpool playing squad includes Istanbul hero goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek and fellow shot-stopper Sander Westerveld.
Former defenders Martin Skrtel, Fabio Auerlio and Gregory Vignal have been confirmed, along with former France striker Djibril Cisse.
Dutchman Ryan Babel, who played for both Ajax and Liverpool during his career, will feature for both sides in the game.
The statement added: “One hundred per cent of the proceeds raised from the fixture – presented by AXA the club’s official training partner – will support the work of LFC Foundation and its charity partners.
The LFC Foundation’s previous two legends matches against Manchester United and Celtic raised a total of £1.45 million, of which was used to support work schemes and initiatives across the Liverpool city region and beyond.
Tickets for the Legends charity match are priced at £28 for adults, £8 for juniors and £18 for over 65s.
